It works in my ipad so i know the jack is good The movie plays without headphones, so i know it is not the movie issue either Glassring, i have the same problem with my surface 2 Anytime i use headphones then disconnect them, speakers won't work (regardless of specific app on both ends)
I've tried plugging the headset into each of my usb ports as recommended in another post, i've also plugged it into a laptop running win7 and it worked on it.
